ERIU dance group has been operating in Cracow since 2006. It was created on the initiative of a few dance enthusiasts, who, enchanted by Irish music, initiated the existence of the group. For her patroness chose Eriu – in Celtic mythology the goddess of sovereignty and personification of Ireland. Eriu brings together dancers of various interests and competitions whose passion for Irish music and dance results in interesting stage and climatic choreographies. The choreographer of the ensemble is Agata Kowalczyk, a dancer with extensive stage and pedagogical experience, a graduate of the Instructor Qualification Course in the field of folk dance. ERIU’s artistic achievements include a number of large dance performances, exhibited at the Nowa Huta Cultural Center, the Teatr Ludowy, the Municipal Cultural Center in Nowy Targ and the Kielce Dance Theater, among others:
