The band Happy to Meet was formed in the spring of 1998 in city Šumperk in North Moravia, Czech Republic. They get through a different music competition and good luck was on their side. On the festival Zahrada, Happy to Meet gained first place in the competition of bands, the price, which is called “Mole”. The band perform in the Malostranska Beseda – first brodcast appearance in Czech TV show called “Folkova setkani”. So far, the biggest achievement for the band is victory in the magazine reader's poll in the category of Folk & Country "discovery of the year 1998", and taking a symbolic “Golden Key”.
