Poitín is a musical group from Plzeň – Czech Republic, playing from 1996. Repertoire includes mainly Irish traditional music presented in the way it perform young groups todays in the British Isles, in the USA and Europe. Frontman, singer and player on the Irish bodhrán drum Jeremy M. King comes from the English Brighton, where he also played traditional music. Also the other members have a rich musical experience and the band play not only on local festivals, but also has a successful performance in Poland, Germany, Italy and France. During more than 15-year existence band has released five Poitín studio albums, participated on compilations of Popron production and a few other media in USA (Mage Records).
