Quanti Minoris (Castelrock – or The Medieval Street Beat) By genre can be Quanti Minoris classified as a historic folk rock with Celtic roots. For the most eloquent indication of the form could be name The Castle Rock can be considered, i.e., "Castelrock". Repertoire of Quanti Minoris, in addition to its own songwriting, is mostly setting to music a poetry of medieval authors (anonymous but also F. Villon for example). The music is original and is only inspired by the music of the period 13th – 17th century. Melodic line with supporting a medieval element using replicas of historical instruments is performed through the rock base. The result is a stylish, but hard classifiable musical direction, but it is more interesting for how its sound (Shawm, gemshorn, crooked Horn, recorders, platerspîl, chalumeau, flute, lute, guittern, viola da gamba-alt). This music fits just as well in the environment of the castles and palaces, as well as on the stage of folk, rock, and world music, even ethno festivals.
