Twice the price holders of an “Andel” for album of the year, their album “Poplór” has high rating in the prestigious TOP 20 Europian World Music Charts, the album "Do kamene tesané – Ondráš" became the pattern for the Polish theatre performances Ondraszek – Mr. Łysej Góry. With music inspired by traditional Moravian music playing in Europe, from Russia to Ireland, playing at folklore, folk, rock and metal festivals. While their first album "Horní chlapci" folk orientated is dedicated to Walachian poet Ladislav Nezdařil, current CD "Cestou na jih" is clear ethno rock inspired by folklore of regions Moravia from North to South. And in between the style of these two albums you can define music of Tomáš Kočko and his Orchestra. World music with Moravian roots. Folk singer Tomáš Kočko has entered into wider public awareness with the recital, in which he stated the poetry set to music of poet Ladislav Nezdaril. He popularized and discovered this Beskydy poet whos dedicated much of his work to the mountains, people and the famous Heroes of this region. The songs on poetic texts by Ladislav Nezdařil taking a important part of Kočko repertoire, which already named his musical formation as "Tomáš Kočko & Orchestr". The second important part of the repertoire is the original creation inspired by the bandits theme, especially in legends and songs about Ondráš, the legendary hero of the Beskydy mountains. The repertoire is added by adaptations of traditional songs of Moravia.
