Celtic Night 2024 - 21st year, 30 different ensembles, 150 artists from 12 countries. The 3-day festival of Celtic culture and entertainment - the Celtic Night 2024 festival is in full swing of preparations, the date 18 - 20 July 2024 has been already known for a long time and the festival will traditionally take place again at the Žralok campsite in the town of Plumlov, where the festival has been permanently based since of its 4th year in 2006.
Celtic Night 2024 will once again take place under the auspices of the Governor of the Olomouc Region and the Irish Embassy in Prague. Advance ticket sales (Permanent: 3 days, Combo: Fri-Sat, or any one-day) have been going on Ticketstream since December, and tickets will of course also be available directly at the event at the entrance to the venue. You can find a complete overview of tickets here below under the introductory text.
So, starting on 18/07/2024 you will be waiting for 3 days filled with great Celtic music, Irish dancing, Celtic crafts and fighting, workshops and lectures, Celtic spirituality, live Celtic theatre, good food, beer and mead... and most of all the beautiful atmosphere that is Plumlov's Celtic Night known throughout its existence.
You can find the complete detailed program of KN 2024 here on the KN website in the PROGRAM-section, again you can look forward to both the news and the steady stars of Celtic Night.
Among the news here, I can mention IRISH ELEMENTS THE SHOW (UK,IRL,SK) - for the first time at KN, an hour-long dance-music show performed by a group consisting of dancers who personally participated in the famous world projects Lord of the Dance and Riverdance.
Another novelty is GROGGY DOGS (ESP) - a pirate band from the city of Sevilla, who will bring their earthy rock based on old Irish tavern and sailor songs.
The new project of the great Dutch multi-instrumentalist and singer LOES VAN SCHAIJK BAND (NL, IRL, CZ) will also be a novelty - Irish songs and tunes enriched with a touch of bluegrass and a pinch of jazz, and beautiful original songs by Loes will also be heard.
Another novelty will be a live theater called Bride for Paddy, presented by the theater association from Polička.
KN can't miss star stars from abroad either: Sliotar (IRL), Celtica Pipes Rock (AUT, UK), Cisal Pipers (ITA), Selfish Murphy (HUN, ROM), Celtycki Wroclaw (PL) and our Czech and Moravian festival stars : Tomas Kočko and Orchestra, České Srdce, Deloraine, Bran, Vintage Wine, Quanti Minoris, Happy To Meet, Malemirish, Gwalarn, Hakka Muggies, Wolfarian, Emerald Shine, Barbar Punk.
Irish dances will be performed by: Eriu (PL), Démáirt (CZ) and Fiach Bán (CZ). Celtic crafts will be taken care of again and the Latenart group will develop its Celtic camp. The fire show is traditionally performed by master Akáda and his group Fires, swords, lightning. It is clear that you have a lot to look forward to, all the performers and the Celtic Night production team are looking forward to seeing all of you…

Poslední festivalový den odstartoval kapelou Malemirish, pak Vintage Wine, Cisal Pipers, Celtycki Wroclaw a nyní Happy to Meet..... nechyběly ani workshopy: Daný Klímové Šamanské tvoření kotlíku Moudrosti a Inspirace s kouzelnicí Cerridwen a kapely Cisal Pipers na téma starověké flétny, dudy a bubny.
Následovat bude přednáška na téma Živé byliny Veroniky Mergentalové, výuka irských tanců se skupinou Démáirt a v 19:00 už Deloraine.
Od 20:40 pak po dvacáté na Keltské noci irští Sliotar, irské tance Eriu, ve 23:00 Celtica Pipes Rock a na úplný závěr Emerald Shine........

The official stand of the Celtic Night festival will be open throughout the festival, with the possibility of purchasing music media for individual performers, as well as T-shirts, hats, badges and other official materials with the Celtic Night festival logo.
