Poitín is a Pilsen music group playing since 1996. Its repertoire includes mainly Irish traditional music presented in the way it is performed today by young groups in the British Isles, the USA and Europe.

The group's frontman, singer and Irish bodhran drum player Jeremy M. King comes from Brighton, England, where he also performed traditional music. The other members also have rich musical experience, and the band regularly performs not only at domestic festivals, but also has successful performances in, for example, Poland, Germany, Italy and France. During his more than fifteen years of existence, Poitín has self-published a total of five studio albums, participated in compilations produced by Popron and several other select carriers in the USA (Mage Records).
