WOLFARIAN is a Czech eight-member symphonic-folk metal band from Brno, characterized by two contrasting voices – a rough male growl and a soft female vocal. The dense sound of instruments typical of metal music is complemented by the rich melodies of violins, transverse flutes and keyboards.

They play a distinctive symphonic folk-metal with a strong dance accent and a captivating concert show. The songs are at the same time very emotional and epic, full of mysterious melancholy and beauty. The lyrics are based on stories from Norse and Celtic mythology.

Over the past decade, Wolfarian has played dozens of successful club and festival concerts in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia and Romania. In 2015, they released their first album Far Away In The North. In January 2019, their second album Beyond The Ninth Wave.

Both albums recieved excellent reviews from Czech and foreign reviewers. This year, their third album, titled VEGRwill be released, which will be characterized by a stronger sound and a deep immersion into the stories of Norse mythology.
